He has been in private practice at the same location in Concord, North Carolina for most of his time as a physician.
 He has hobbies; a drummer of no renown, he knows his way around a wood shop and can make a computer do a couple things without the too frequent use of a hammer. He has a lovely wife, four usually wonderful children and a bunny.
 He was called to medicine at a young age and after a stint in the US Army, working on the avionics of Chinook helicopters, he spent over ten years learning the art and science of medicine and then the last twenty plus years practicing it most days. He is still excited about human anatomy, physiology and pathology and enjoys doing what he does. So, to quote Dr. London, WBD, "Pick a disease, any disease, but don't tell me what it is".
